Debbie Lieberman is a two-term County Commissioner of Montgomery County, Ohio. She was elected as County Commissioner in the 2004 and 2008 elections. Before her becoming a county official, she served two terms on the city council of Clayton, Ohio. ==Early life==
Debbie Lieberman spent parts of her youth in the Dayton region as her father served as headmaster for Dayton Christian School. However, her family also spent years in both Indianapolis, Indiana, and St. Petersburg, Florida. Debbie attended Central Indiana University, now the University of Indianapolis, for her undergraduate degree in Political Science. She returned to Dayton in 1983 to attend the University of Dayton Law School, graduating in 1986. After completing law school, Debbie worked in real estate and with The Legal Aid Society of Dayton. In 1991, Debbie joined the Montgomery County Auditor’s Office as Director of Real Estate. She served in that position for 10 years before becoming the Chief Deputy Auditor in 2001.
